Discount Domain Names With Coupons

Written by Z. Zivanovic, WebsiteDevelopingTricks.com

This short article will try to give you a nice tip on how to save when you want to register a new domain name. That's a nice backdoor to buying discount domains on most popular registrars and I used this system for few months. Since I started using this technique, it saved me a few hundred bucks which allowed me to buy even more domains. If you are a passionate domain buyer and trader like I am, this is something you will like, since it will definitely save you some extra bucks with your domain registrations.

The technique is fairly simple and easy. It's based on something that people in US and all around the world simply enjoy doing, and that is purchasing with coupons. In this case, knowledge and a bit of surfing can really save you some nice buck. During the recent years I used most of the popular domain registrars for purchasing and maintaining my domains, including Directnic, GoDaddy, EV1 Domains and recently my favorite NameCheap. They all have a lot in common and they all have some good and bad sides - it's up to you to choose your favorite. I will discuss my experience with each of them in my future articles. As for this coupon domain registering technique, I can tell you that it worked with each one of them. Last few months I've been mostly using NameCheap and with them it's really easy to use this system.

In order to use coupons for your domain registrations (or renewals), you need to find a working coupon first. Well this will require a little research but it will eventually save you some money. So don't be lazy and spend some time browsing, especially if you plan to bulk register a lot of domains. Saving a dollar from each domain would easily save you $50 or $100 with bulk registrations. So what you need to do first is to type something like "[your domain registrar name] coupon" in Google,  where you replace [your domain registrar name] with Namecheap, Directnic, GoDaddy etc. Each of those searches will return a list of sites that either provide a direct links to pages with coupons or more often webmaster message boards where webmasters post recent coupons they found. Anyway, in few minutes you should be able to find a working coupon for your registrar which will save you money. If you don't have any domains registered or want to change the registrar, you may want to choose among those that give the best discounts with their active coupons. Simply choose the domain registrar with the best discount and price for domain you are looking for and that's it.

Big discounts are good way for registrars to get new customers, however - do not simply go to the cheapest one. You can bump on to the company that just started and is simply selling domains for a cheapest price while not taking care about the service itself. With those kind of companies you can only get a headache, and the discounts that you got in the start could only end up in much higher renewals later.
